Instruction on how to use PleaseDaven.com site
Once you have registered you can enter names of people who need prayers. Use their Hebrew names. It is traditional to use the person's name and their mother's name. If you are requesting a prayer for a male, you would use the word "ben" which means "the son of". If you are requesting a prayer for a female you would use "bat", which means "daughter of". The name would look something like this: David ben Sarah (David, the son of Sara). Elisheva bat Chaya is Elisheva, the daughter of Chaya. If you do not know the Hebrew name then write the English name. Each prayer is sent to us for approval so please be patient, it might take a day until the prayer request is uploaded. The prayer request is left on the site for 60 days. You can delete it before the posting expires or you can renew it up to 6 times. A few days before the posting expires you will receive an e-mail with instructions on renewal. If you are looking for a Shidduch, we suggest you check out a really good free Jewish dating site.
